Panda's Posts #11 Water Walkers or Being a 'Cool Cat' June 10, 2021

* Publishing news at end of post.

Our Great Grandma Tippy, started it. I love it! My siblings can do it, but of course, not like moi. I have purrfected Water Walking and being a cool cat! This is essential for Logo Panda!

[Take note of Panda's very thick, hot hair shown in photos]

What's that you ask? Afraid of water?

Pawsitively not!

Recent rain has created deep puddles in the Boss's yard. The sun should be out so reflections are easy to see and bugs will land on the water.

Method 1:

Make sure no other cats are around so they don’t spoil the awesome 'coolness'of the moment. Walk carefully into center of puddle and sit down. Be as still as possible. Then look in amazement at your own cool, famous, unique reflection; mom explained it because at first, I thought there was another Panda looking at me! Now I love admiring my large incredible green eyes! And practicing smiling for the cameras when we have a photo shoot.

Once positioned and the ripples have stopped, wait until bugs land, and then swat them with my huge furry paws. Splashes follow, sometimes leaps, and then head back to the puddle center to munch on bug snack. Sit down again and repeat as needed. Keep checking reflection for continued photo ready opportunities.

Method 2:

Walking around in the puddle is a great way to get cool and be cool! Because my direct-hit thick hair is extremely hot in the summer, the deeper the water the better; the hair needs to be completely wet to effectively cool off. Swishing the paws helps. Dipping the face in and out quickly, brings instant relief. Keep checking reflection for continued photo ready opportunities. Stay in the puddle but avoid the muddy edge if pawsible. When finished walk directly to a favourite rest spot to dry off. This really saves on washing up.

Method 3:

A game of chase, racing in and out of the puddle with the siblings. This works best when everyone shows up. Can get a bit muddy, which would then lead back to Method 2.

Method 4:

Leaping into the center and then back out to the edge also provides great entertainment. The only drawback is that it uses a lot of energy, which is why this is Method 4.

Publication Mews:

The Boss has told me to let you know we will be moving into a Kickstart campaign soon. There will also be a pre-order page set up. Details will follow next week.

We are so excited to get this going!

Pawsing for now,

Panda
